-The 2200 control is for inside use only. Do not mount in exposed areas.
-The sensors are designed to be mounted outside.
-Install the sensors using the provided brackets.
-Install the sensors with the cables on the down side.
-Wiring to the sensors is low voltage, low current.
18 gage wire can be used up to 100 feet for the sensors
Do not run the sensor wires near EMI sources such as line voltage lines, light ballast, etc
-Mount the wind sensor at the highest point possible near the window covering where wind flow is not
obstructed.
-The sun sensor must be mounted outside and facing the direction the window covering is protecting
against sun.
-Mount the sun sensor away from shadows
-Mount the rain sensor at a angle (provided by the bracket). Mounting the rain sensor flat will cause
poor performance.
-Follow all local and national electrical codes.
-Test the wind sensor to assure it moves the window coving in the correct direction.
