General  Safety Instructions

Before using this appliance please read the instruction manual carefully.

The appliance is designed for domestic use and may only be operated in accordance with these

instructions.  

Check that the mains voltage stated on the rating plate corresponds to the local electricity

supply.

Unwind and straighten the power cord before use.

Disconnect appliance from the mains supply.

Before plugging or unplugging.

Before removing any part of the appliance or refitting any part to the ironing board.

Before cleaning and or maintenance.

If it is not working correctly.

After use.

Keep electrical appliances out of reach of Children or infirm persons. Do not let them use the

appliances without supervision.

Turn the power switch off before disconnecting the appliance from mains supply.

The ironning board must only be used in conjunction with the iron SISS2280 or an iron with a

separate boiler.

If the power cord or any part of the appliance is damaged, the manufacturer or its authorised

service agent or similarly qualified person must replace it immediately..

 

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for

their safety

For safty reasons, a broken or damaged lead may only be raplaced by an equivalent 

      lead from the manufacture,our nearest authorised customer service department or a similarly 

      qualified person.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance

Never leave the appliance unsupervised.Switch off the device whenever you are not

      using it,even if this is only for a moment.
