THE CONNECTING UNIT
The connecting unit can hold the beaters as well as the dough hooks.
The beaters are intended for whipping cream, whisking egg whites, desserts etc.
Use the dough hooks only for mixing dough, not for kneading.
Use the beaters together or the dough hooks, do not mix the sets.
USE OF THE CONNECTING UNIT
1. Connect the beaters or the dough hooks to the connecting unit (

g. 4, 5)
2. Connect the connecting unit to the motor unit (
fi
g. 6, 7)
3. The beaters can be inserted in either position, use them for liquid or soft ingredients. Do not
use for more than three minutes continuously.
4. Put the ingredients in a bowl.
Tip:
use a large bowl for the best result.
5. Immerse the beaters completely into the ingredients and to avoid splashing start processing
at speed 1 by pressing the speed I button.
6. Continue with speed II after approx. 1 minute by pressing the speed II button.
THE DOUBLE BLADE
Chops raw and cooked vegetables (onion, coleslaw, pepperoni, etc.), fruits (e.g. apples), meat
(cooked or raw), nuts, etc.
USE OF THE DOUBLE BLADE
1. Place the double blade (H) on the axis of the bowl (G). Make sure that the four notches of the
plate match the protrusion of the bowl.
2. Put the food (meat, vegetable, fruit, etc.) into the bowl (incl. double blade). Most foodstuffs
enlarge their volume when they are ground, therefore we recommend that you do not
fi
ll the
bowl more than half.
3. Place the transmission unit onto the bowl.
4. Place the hand mixer without exercising too much pressure on the transmission shaft (L) and
switch your Hand mixer onto 2nd speed.
5. Always use the pusher (N) to add additional foodstuff through the feed tube. Fill the feed tube
completely. If not
fi
lled suf
fi
ciently, vegetable pieces may block the appliance.
Never reach with your
fi
ngers or with any hard utensils (spoons, knives, etc.) into the
feed tube!
