Note:

If cables other than those supplied are used, they should be shielded Cat 5 cables. If the cable length

exceeds 1 meter and improper operation is observed, set switch 3 to the ON (DOWN) position. This adjusts

the timing of the clock circuits to allow for longer cable lengths.

The Option Module position (1 to 4) at one end of the link is electronically mated to the SAME Option Module

position at the other end of the link 1 to 1, 2 to 2, and so on. Option Modules must be installed in mating pairs

in the same Option Module position on both ends of the link to operate correctly. Refer to the Option Module

manual for details on mating Option Modules.
