Parental Control
Your Sound Station has a parental control feature called Channel Blocking
which will allow you to lock access to channels designated as xL channels . A
4-digit code controls access to the locked channels .
In addition, you can also lock the front panel so that the Sound Station
cannot be operated without first entering the parental code, or you can
choose to lock the front panel but keep the favorite buttons enabled .
Channel Blocking
If you attempt to tune to a locked channel, either by using direct tune or
through the channel list, or On Demand content from a locked channel, you’ll
be prompted to enter your 4-digit code . When the correct code is entered, the
channel or content will be tuned . All locked channels become unlocked and
will remain unlocked until you turn the Sound Station off . The next time you
turn the Sound Station On, all channels will again be locked .
If the Sound Station is turned off while tuned to a locked channel, the next
time you turn the Sound Station on, you will be prompted to enter your lock
code before the channel is tuned .
If you select
Cancel
instead of entering your
lock code, the channel will display
Stopped
and will not play .
To set or change the parental lock code:
When you enter Parental Controls you’ll be prompted to enter the parental
lock code . The default code is 0000 (four zeros) .
