4. Special Tools Necessary For Compass Adjustment
The compass must be compensated after it has been installed. The procedure is
known as ‘compass adjustment’.
The instrument is to be compensated to cancel magnetic interference from the
aircraft, local instruments or components.
The procedure to compensate the compass is detailed in Page Block 11001 -
Special Procedures.
