Maintenance and
Troubleshooting
Maintenance
It is vital to open and close the SixCase wall cabinet
weekly to check that the lock systems and all electronic
parts are working correctly. While doing so, you should
take careful note of the correct operation of the push
button, code keypad, key lock, the rotor latch lock and
if possibly the status of the de
fi
brillator (please check
manual of AED). After pressing firmly on the red button,
inserting the key or entering the code, the bottom part of
the cabinet should gradually move downwards without
any obstruction, thus providing access to the defibrillator.
It is also important to check the external condition of the
cabinet for any damage, which may possibly
affect
its ope-
ration. If the cabinet has an electrical locking system, it
will be checked once a day automatically. To discharge any
external currents, it is necessary to ground the cabinet.
Upon discovering a defect, please contact your dealer or
SixCase directly. Depending on the type of defect it may
be advisable to remove the AED and inform the users
about the status (unserviceable).
Temperature
If you have any doubt about the functioning of the heater
(outside temperature lower than 0⁰C (32⁰F), please
remove the defibrillator and contact your dealer or
SixCase directly.
The SC1330/ 1340/ 1415/ 1420/ 1435 are equipped with
an active ventilatio
n system. Around 30⁰C the fan will be
switched on to release the heat from the upper part and
sucking in cold air from the bottom. Nevertheless, we rec-
ommend installing the cabinet in the shadow to prevent
high temperatures
(above 50⁰C).

Changing the CODE: Open the SixCase cabinet using the
key or default code (1234). Enter code 1245 in order to
change the code, the alarm stops.

starts again.
Your code has been changed.
Note: Always
confirm
the code change by opening the
SixCase AED cabinet using the new code.
Replacing the emergency glass
Before replacing the safety glass, close the cabinet. Ensure
that old glass remains are removed and not impede the
function of the lock. Pull the red button towards you and
install the safety glass. Then accompany the red button
quiescently to its original position, so that the glass does
not break.
