Fuel:
Gasoline is highly flammable, so avoid smoking and handling open flames near it. Before refueling, switch
off the engine and allow it to cool down. Refuel outdoors and after refueling, move at least three meters away
before starting the engine.
Recommended mixing ratio
Gasoline:Oil – 25:1
Mixing the fuel:
1.
Measure out the quantities of gasoline and oil to be mixed (25:1).
2.
Pour a little gasoline into a suitable and clean container.
3.
Pour in all the oil and mix well.
4.
Pour the rest of the gasoline and stir the mixture for at least one minute. Some oils may be difficult
to mix due to their composition. Make sure that mixing is sufficient. In the case of a lean mixture,
the risk of explosion increases.
5.
Put a label on the container indicating its contents. This will avoid accidental mixing with another
liquid.
Fueling the machine:
1.
Unscrew the tank cap and set it aside.
2.
Fill the fuel tank to 80% capacity.
3.
Screw in the tank cap and wipe off any spilled fuel around it.
Always refuel on a flat surface. After refueling, move at least three meters away from this location before
starting the engine. Before refueling, switch off the engine and make sure you have mixed the mixture well.
To increase engine life, avoid the following:
•
Gasoline without oil:
Causes rapid damage to engine components.
•
Ethanol:
Causes damage to plastic parts and impairs engine lubrication.
•
Four-stroke engine oil:
May damage the spark plug, block the exhaust system, or stick to the
piston ring.
•
Fuel mixtures that have not been used for a long time (one month or more) can cause the carburetor
to block or the machine to be damaged.
•
When storing the machine for a long time, empty and clean the tank.
Starting the engine:
WARNING!
The cutting head will start rotating immediately upon the engine starts.
1.
Feed the fuel into the fuel tank and tighten the cap securely.
2.
Place the brush cutter on a flat and firm surface. Keep the cutting head away from the ground and
away from foreign objects, as it will start to rotate immediately after starting.
3.
Push the element (1) several times until the fuel is sucked into the transparent tube.
