Backup battery switch – on
In the battery
compartment, push the
switch of the backup
battery (
) towards the
display using the stylus.
The backup battery is
on.
Note: Prior to initial operation, the storage battery should be completely
charged. To do so, place the device into the docking station.
Insert the storage battery with its noses at the rounded part into the
relevant recesses inside the battery compartment. Press the battery until
it audibly engages.

HWImagerTool
HWImagerTool executes in the background and can be identified by
the SysTray symbol.
Calmly and angularly hold the skeye.dart in the direction of the
barcode to be scanned. A peep indicates that the entry of the barcode
has been successful. The gap should amount to about 5-10 cm.
An aid to orientation could be the skeye.dart lettering: aim with the
red dot.
HWImagerTool can be used to scan into any text field
(e.g. WordPad).
Scan of barcodes
Insert SIM card*
Remove the battery.
Push the locking of the card holder down.
Swing open the cover of the card holder.
Carefully insert the SIM card.
The conical corner should be top left, the
contacts of the SIM card should rest on the
contacts of the board.
Only slightly insert the SIM card into the
holder. If you push it too far into the holder
the hinges of the holder might block.
Push the locking upwards, thus locking
card holder incl. inserted card.

Prerequisite: a SIM card is inserted.

After start of the operation system, your are asked the PIN
of the SIM card. Enter the number given by your provider.

When demanded you then enter the APN (Access Point Name)
of your provider.
6.
As soon as the GSM symbol below
in the Systray is active (green)
(might take some minutes),
doubletip the symbol and select
"Connect“ in the window.
7.
The GPRS connection is established.
Starting a GPRS connection*
You can start GPS with a terminal program of your own choice by
piloting the GPS module via COM6 with 9600 baud.

synchronisation of files
transfer and copying of files
Install on your PC the program for data synchronisation of a PC
