Press the
Start
function button to begin the single-plane balancing procedure.
How to Perform a Single-Plane Procedure
After setting up your balance measuring equipment, and setting the Microlog’s
balancing measurement parameters, you are ready to perform the single-plane
balancing procedure.
Perform the Reference Run
To begin the single-plane balancing procedure:
•
Start the machine
and bring it up to its nominal, steady running speed.
•
At the
Balance Setup
screen, press the
Start
function button (or an Enter / Fire
button). The
Balancing
Summary
screen displays.

balancing plane / channel (with visual display)
current balancing run (i.e., initial run / IR – also known as reference run)
prompt area indicating next step in balancing procedure
The
Balancing Summary
screen
displays balancing run data in tabular format. Hence,
as you proceed through your balancing runs, you may access this
Balancing Summary
screen by pressing the current balancing screen’s
Table
function button.
