SKOPE CONSORT Convection Panel Heaters

Operation

The controls are located behind a cover on the right hand end of the
heater. When the appliance is connected to the mains supply the neon
indicator on front of the heater should be illuminated. The operation of
the heater is controlled by use of the following controls:

Heat Switches

The heat output is controlled by two switches located under the
thermostat knob (see Figure 3 below). One switch depressed will give
half the heater output, while both switches depressed will give full heat
output.

Thermostat

The heater is fitted with a built-
in thermostat to control the
temperature level to which the
room is heated.  The
thermostat adjustment knob is
located on the right hand end
and is numbered.  Rotate the
knob clockwise to a higher
number to raise the room
temperature.  Once set it is
unlikely to require to be
touched again.

Frost Watch

The ‘Frost Watch’ function is
intended to keep vacated areas
above freezing level, so water
pipes do not burst.

To set the heater to the Frost Watch mode, turn the thermostat control
knob fully anti-clockwise until the frost symbol aligns with mark.
