4.1 Animals
The menu can be used to keep track of the current number of animals in the livestock house. The information
regarding the number of stocked and transferred animals for example helps to form the basis for the controller’s
calculations for production control.
Based on the numbers you enter in the menu
Pigs
, the con-
troller calculates the total number of animals alive, total number
of dead animals and the mortality in the livestock house.
Calculations can also be seen in the PC management program
FarmOnline Explorer.
Production | Pigs
Pigs alive
Displays the current number of animals in the livestock house.
Add/remove animals
Enter the number of animals removed from or added to the livestock house.
It is important that these entries are made correctly, as this is crucial for the calcu-
lation of key figures.
Number of dead animals
Entering the number of dead animals and displaying the summarized number of
dead animals.
The summarized number is included in controller's calculations of the total number
of animals in the livestock house (
Pigs alive
).
Number of dead animals
yesterday
Displays the number of dead animals in the last 24 hours.
Mortality
Displays the total calculated mortality in per cent.
4.1.1.1 Add/remove animals
The menu allows you to enter number of animals in the different categories and also provides a summarized
overview of the numbers.
If animals are moved from one location to another and therefore must be moved from one controller to another,
this can be done through the category
Moved
.
