4.4.1 Manual start of feeding
If you want to start a feeding before the scheduled time, you can activate the feed line though the controller
menu or with an external button.
The manual feeding will start immediately and run until the feed line is filled.
In feeding systems where feed programs are used, a manual feeding may influence the programmed feeding if
it is close in time.
When there is only a short time from the end of the manual feeding until the next programmed feeding, the pro-
grammed start will be skipped (
Minimum time to next filling
. Factory setting: 30 min.).
When there is longer time (more than 30 min.) from the end of the manual feeding until the next programmed
feeding, the manual feeding is carried out as an extra feeding.

An ongoing feeding can also be paused manually in the same
menu.
The pause ended by resuming or stopping the feeding.
If the pause is longer than the set time limit (10 min.), the con-
troller will send an alarm (set in the menu
Alarm settings | Pro-
duction | Dry feeding alarms | Feeding paused too long
).
4.4.2 Parking of feeding
If you want to empty the entire feeding system (feed weigher, supply auger and feed line), you can select the
setting
Empty and park feed line
.
The supply auger will run for a predefined time and then the feed chain will run until the feeding system is
empty.
When a feed line is parked, the feed program is overruled and shown grayed out on the page
