Storage and transport
Transport only on original packaging, store in a dry and cool place.

Care instructions
Just clean the device unit with a soft cloth, moistened with a mild soap solution. Dry cleaning, aggressive detergents
and abrasives may damage the surface.

A modification (alteration or conversion) of the TK Adapter V2 is not allowed

Safety
Mounting, installation, reparation and initial setup must be carried out by qualified elec

tricians only! When working on systems with 230 V alternating voltage the safety require-
ments of DIN VDE 0100 must be complied with.

4 Operation
4.1
Configuration/Setting parameters via DTMF
The most important steps of the configuration can also be done via a DTMF capable telephone. Thus the configura-
tion can be done through any DTMF capable telephone in the system. After calling the TK Adapter V2 the answering
of the call is indicated by a positive feedback tone (660 Hz for one second). If the call has not been answered a
shorter (3 x per second) and slightly higher tone will be heard.
The general form of configuration is always the same and starts and ends with an asterisk (*):

function e. g. *23040*, *23042*, *23043*, … or *23049*.
