MAINTENANCE & CHECKS
1) Advice on Maintenance
The life of your paraglider depends largely on careful maintanance and usage.
Avoid dropping the paraglider on the canopy or the leading edge during
inflation and landing. Do not drag it across the ground when moving it. Do not
expose it unnecessarily to sunlight. Choose a technique that does not damage
the stiffeners and that does not reduce the stiffness of the internal structure
excessively. In order to increase the paraglider‘s life-span it is not recommended
to use „quick packs“ or any forms of „carry all bags“. The abrasion of the material
will result in a shorter lenght of service – particularly of its internal structure.
Always use an inner bag to avoid a direct contact of the harness metalwork
and the rucksack.
2) Check-Ups
The paraglider has undergone a series of tests during the production
process and consequent flight tests before the delivery. It is delivered with
a standard brake setting same to the one used during the testing.
Periodic Checks & Repairs:
Out of safety reasons it is recommended that the paraglider be checked at
least once a year, or after 100 flights and anytime there is a change in its
behaviour. The check must be done by the manufacturer or an authorised
representative. Before sending the paraglider for an inspection contact your
importer or the dealer.
3) Guarantee
ANTEA 2 is guaranteed for two years againts any production fault since the
date of purchase.
The guarantee does not cover:
Damage caused by misuse, by neglecting the recular maintanance, or if the
glider is overloaded or misused.
Damage caused by inappropriate landings.
In case of any doubts regarding the information in the manual contact your
SKY dealer.
