Service Life and Inspections

Sky Paragliders

warranties the paraglider for three years or 200 flight hours.

The

owner is obliged to accurately register flight hours in a flight log.

Recorded time

should include ground handling, waiting on launch, packing etc. Add an hour to each
winch launch flight. Upon inspection, the manufacturer can extend the rated service
lift of the glider, normally in increments of one year. Without this inspection, the glider
cannot be flown once it has attained 200 hours (recorded as described here) or three
years after original sale.
