D
Pin 2
-
thermistor connection (positive excitation)
Pin 3

n/c
Pin 5
-
thermistor connection (ground) and cable screen
5.4 Single Ended Voltage Sensors
N.B. Be sure that the D’s channel is specified for the voltage you are intending to
connect as an input. Do not use sensors with a voltage output greater than +/- 4.5V as these
may damage the D’s circuitry.
Also no more than 5 mA (10-15mA maximum total over all sockets) may be drawn from the 5
volt supply pin. Offset errors may occur with high ground current and long leads.
Pin 1
-
positive excitation (5.000 volts)
Pin 2
-
0- maximum input voltage (from sensor or customer’s equipment)
Pin 3

Pin 4

Pin 5
-
ground and cable screen
5.5 Differential Voltage Sensors
Sockets for connection of a differential voltage / bridge type sensor, e.g. an air pressure
barometer, soil moisture tensiometer, water level sensor, thermopile pyranometer etc
