• Engine Oil Level

Maintaining the engine components
is essential to good performance and
service life of the aerial platform.
WARNING
Beware of hot engine components.
Check oil level on dipstick

Oil level should be in the “safe" zone.
Add oil as needed.
Refer to Table 2.5 Tire
for recommended oil type.
B - Frequent Inspection

Ensure there are no loose or missing
parts and there is no visible damage.

• Engine Fuel Leaks

Ensure that there no fuel leaks at engine.
DANGER
Engine fuels are combustible. Inspect
the aerial platform in an open, well-
ventilated area away from heaters,
sparks and flames. Always have an
approved fire extinguisher within easy
reach.

Ensure shutoff valve, hoses and fittings
show no visible damage and no evidence
of fuel leakage.
