3. Remote Control (Optional Accessory)  

LED

Panic Button– Press this button to activate the emergency call 
Speed Dial Button– Press this button to activate a speed dial call 

 

4. Operation 

Under normal standby condition, the green LED on the dialer should be on constantly. 
If the red LED flashes constantly, that means you are having some failure issues. 
Please refer to section 5 for System Failure.  

 

During Emergency – Press URGENT Button 

 

During an emergency, you may initiate a call by pressing the “URGENT” red button, 
this will initiate a call with the monitoring station. You will hear the dial tone that the 
dialer is calling. Once the line is picked up by the monitoring station, you may start 
the voice conversation with the operator at the monitoring station. You can speak 
when the orange LEDs are flashing, indicating the microphone is activated. After the 
call, there is no need to disconnect the line. The operator will disconnect the line for 
you. If you initiate a call by accident, press the “CANCEL” green button will stop the 
call from dialing to the monitoring station. 

 

Remote Control (Optional Accessory) 

 

You may also initiate a call by pressing the large red button on the remote control. 
When the button is pressed, LED on the remote will flash indicating a signal is being 
transmitted to the dialer. Just wait for the operator to pick up the call before you can 
start the voice conversation. The speed dial button allows you to call a pre-
programmed phone number (not monitoring station). When the speed dial button is 
pressed, it will dial to this phone number. Please consult with your installer so they 
can program a suitable speed dial number for you.  

 

5. System Failure 

The system will monitor itself for failures, such as: 
1) AC power failure (No AC power from the adapter) 
2) Phone line failure (No phone line is connected) 
3) Backup battery failure (Backup battery is low) 
During a system failure, the dialer will beep for 20 seconds and the red LED will flash. 
When there is a failure condition, you should consult with the installer. You can 
disable the failure beeping while it is sounding if you press the “CANCEL” green 
button. 

 

6. FCC

The Auto Dialer is approved by the FCC and it complies with Part 15 of the FCC 
Rules. Its operation is subject to the following two conditions : 
1. This device may not cause harmful interference. 
2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may 
cause undersired operation.
