How to Imprint on Stationery, Invitations or Announcements.
Stationery and writing papers can be imprinted using the Gauge Bar (for smaller stationery) or the
Extended Printing Table (larger items.)
1.Set the temperature to between 220 and 250 degrees.
2. Set the appropriate Type Holder according to the instructions on typesetting. Use P-series or
A-series foil for smaller letters and H-series foil for larger letters or rough surfaces.
3.Insert the Type Holder into the Machine. When imprinting at the top of a page, such as on
stationery, insert the Type Holder from the left side of the Adapter Sleeve. When imprinting
at the bottom of a page, such as on greeting cards, insert the Type Holder from the right side
of the Adapter Sleeve.
4. Slide the Gauge Bar onto the Printing Table and lock into the desired position.
5. Measure the width of the article to be imprinted.
6. Divide the width by two and place the Gauge Bar Clip
at this number on either side of the
zero on the Gauge Bar.
7. Place article onto the Printing Table and use the Gauge bar/Gauge Bar Clip for positioning.
8. Make a test imprint to check your spelling.
NOTES:
•
To stamp a name at an angle across the corner, use the angle Matchbook Guide.
•
When there is no foil that is a direct match to the ink used on your stationery, use a
contrasting color such as gold or silver.
