VFX Application Main Menu
The VFX Application Main Menu can be found in the top left corner of the V-‐Machine Pane. It is
a small orange colored icon.
Right clicking on the Menu reveals a selection of options including:
•
File – Import/Export, Import VST, Install
Syncrosoft support, Authorization,
Update Firmware, and Format V-‐
Machine
•
Banks, Preset, and Plugin management
•
Preference settings for viewing VST
plug-‐in GUI/parameters
•
VFX Library and Audio interface
options/preferences

Help Link
•
About VFX
•
Power off/quit application
Special Note:
Left clicking on the Orange icon initiates the Power Off command and closes the
application.

V-‐Machine Global System Settings Menu Icon
Mouse clicking the MENU icon allows you to navigate the available Global System Settings.
Just as on the real V-‐Machine hardware, the Global System Settings include:
•
Display – LCD Contrast settings
•
Audio settings – Mono/Stereo output setting, Audio input gain adjustment
•
Midi Options -‐ Program change (Patch/Preset), Parameter feedback (On/Off)
•
MIDI Control – Options to control the V-‐Machine hardware controls via MIDI
•
System Info -‐ Firmware version number, Internal flash storage usage %
•
Import – Import elements from an external VFX Library folder
•
Export – Export elements to an external VFX Library folder
•
Delete – Delete a Preset, Bank, All Banks, or All Banks and Plugins
•
Delete Plugins – Delete a selected Plugin
Please refer to the Global System Settings operation as described in
section 10.3.1
Global
System Settings MENU as the Menu items available in the VFX Application are exactly the same
as those available on the V-‐Machine hardware.
When the Menu is selected, the first setting option is ‘System Info’. Keep in mind to click both
Next/Prev to go to all Menu options (Menu items are located both to the Left and Right hand
direction of ‘System Info’.
Global System Settings can be navigated and adjusted as desired. All settings will be saved and
transferred to the V-‐Machine during the synchronization process via USB or the ‘Load/Save to
Stick’ synchronization method.
Special Note
: Some Global System Settings are not applicable for use in the V-‐Machine Pane
within the VFX Application. For example the LCD contrast adjustment settings only make sense
on the V-‐Machine hardware itself.
