2/4-channel analog input terminal (TempIN)
The 2/4-channel analog input terminal (TempIN) evaluates two PT100 sensors. The resistance values are converted to
temperature values. A microprocessor in the bus terminal linearizes the measured resistance values and converts them
into a numerical value that is proportional to the temperature of the selected resistance sensor.
A green status LED and a rote error LED for each channel indicate either the operating state, a short circuit, a wire
break, or values outside the range of measurement. PT100 sensors are connected to the CAGE CLAMP® connections
+R1/-R1 to +R4/-R4.
