The allocation of the individual measuring channels to the different groups can also be
set directly in SDC, using the SMU parameters.
Group Classification with Team Configuration
With the Team configuration, the SSM-C must be subdivided into at least two groups,
and the SSM-Cs which are connected to the Team leader must be monitored in one
group (e.g. group 1). The SSM-Cs which are connected to the Team member are also
monitored in a separate group (e.g. group 2). This subdivision is necessary so that if a
fault arises at the Team member, no warnings appear at the Team leader's SCC.
10.4 Setting the Number of Strings
Information
The intended maximum number of strings assigned to a measuring channel is
two. However, depending on the system design, more strings can be
connected in parallel outside the SSM-C, and added to a measuring channel.
