Normal Operation
The inverter is feeding the utility grid in either “MPP” or “Constant Voltage” mode.
“MPP” Mode: The Sunny Boy adjusts the voltage from the PV array to match the
voltage with the highest output power.
“Constant Voltage” Mode: The voltage from the PV array has been set to a fixed
value. This value is set by using the Sunny Boy Control or the Sunny Data software.
(The parameter name is “V-Const” or „U-Konst“ depending on which software you
are using to access the parameters.)
Derating
The inverter is feeding power to the utility grid at a derated rate due to excessive
heating of the heat sink.
