14.1.4 Automatic Generator Operation
In automatic operating mode ("#241.01 GnAutoEna" parameter), the Sunny Island
5048 automatically defines the settings (depending on battery charge state or load) as
to when the generator starts and how long it runs. The automatic operating mode is
activated using GnAutoEna = On (default). If GnAutoEna = Off, the automatic
operating mode is deactivated.
In addition, the user can also manually start and stop the generator, if required.
Charge State Dependent Start
The time periods t1 and t2 are defined using the "#241.07 GnTm1Str" and "#241.08
GnTm2Str" parameters. The start time for t1 (and thus the end of t2) is defined using
GnTm1Str and the start time for t2 (end of t1) is defined using GnTm2Str.

Manual specifications on the Sunny Island 5048 take priority over the
automatic operating mode. If the Sunny Island 5048 is manually stopped
while the automatic operating mode is activated, the Sunny Island 5048
enters into stop/lock operating mode.
If the generator autostart is activated and all the conditions for automatic
operation are satisfied, the Sunny Island 5048 switches back into the start
operating mode following the lockout time (or manual confirmation using
the "#430.02 GnAck" parameter).
