Using the Firmware
Starting a Firmware Session
There are two situations in which you need to start a new firmware session.
When you start a new session, the Welcome Center appears.
Whiteboarding
Whiteboard allows you to capture notes and drawings in digital ink on your 600i interactive
whiteboard system.
Use Whiteboard for brainstorming, note taking and other activities for which you want to use your
interactive whiteboard system’s digital ink tools without connecting to a computer.
Situation
Procedure
Your 600i interactive whiteboard system is off.
Turn on your 600i interactive whiteboard
system as documented in
document 87643
.
Your 600i interactive whiteboard system is on
but the display is blank.
The firmware has timed out and is in sleep
mode. (For information on setting the number of
minutes before the firmware times out, see
page 22.)
Swipe your finger or a pen from the pen tray
across the display of your 600i interactive
whiteboard system.
