2000i-DVS Installation Guide
Connecting a VCR or DVD Player
You’ll need the following cables to connect a VCR or DVD player to the 2000i:
•
an RCA composite video cable or an S-video cable
•
standard red and white RCA stereo audio cables
To connect a VCR/DVD player to the 2000i
1. Power down the projector.
2. Connect the yellow RCA video connector on an RCA composite video cable (not provided) to the
Video Output jack
on the VCR/DVD player. This jack may be labeled “To Monitor”.
3. Plug the other end of the cable into the
Video IN
connector on the projector.
Connecting the Video Cable from the VCR/DVD Player to the Projector
NOTE:
If you're using an S-video cable, connect it to the
S-video Out
connector on the
VCR/DVD player, and then plug the other end directly into the
S-video IN
connector on the
projector.
4. Connect standard red and white RCA stereo audio cables (not provided) from the
RCA Audio
outputs on the VCR/DVD player to the two
Auxiliary
Audio IN
jacks on the rear of the 2000i.
Keep your right and left channel connections correct for stereo sound.
