Cabinet Control Screen
Also called “Door Blister” –
This control screen is
located at eye level on the front and rear door of
the cabinet if fitted.
This device is a touch screen control and display
interface, with speaker for audio prompts and a
barcode scanner for staff, scope identification
–
The
Cabinet Control Screen is housed in an acrylic
housing with a metal curved façade. The screen
displays cabinet environmental information, quick
visual status of each scope stored including time
stored a
nd OOC time “Out Of Cabinet” time, if a
scope was removed
The other detail screens provide technical details
about each scope, remaining storage time and

other screens display
details about cabinet pressure, pump temperature
and speeds and cabinet humidity and temperature.
The main screen is usually all an operator needs to
see - including scope details and current status eg
drying or dry. Clear simple icons denote scope
drying status and remaining storage time

Selecting
a scope with the least remining time allows
efficiency in reducing scope reprocessing by use of
“Oldest Stored Scope First”
Cabinet Pressure
The positive pressure inside the cabinet
–
this should
be greater than the adjacent rooms ensuring
positive pressured HEPA Filtered Air is always purging
out of the cabinet preventing room air from
occupying the cabinet
The Cabinet pressure can be viewed on the Main
Screen of the Cabinet Control Screen located on
the cabinet door/s
The cabinet air is exchanged approximately 12 times
per hour to remove moisture from the cabinet
environment and maintain a positive pressure of
around > 25Pa pressure
