5.2
Programming
mode
The Programming Mode is used to alter factory set parameters and to
change settings, codes etc. Depending on the programming level, different
codes are required.

5.4 Immediate
Time
Lock
This function permits activation of a Locking Period with immediate ac-
tion. Upon closing the lock
cannot
be opened for the programmed dura-
tion.
Example: For shorter business hours due to public holiday, the time until
beginning of the regular Locking Period can be bridged.
1. Press any key to wake up the display (if necessary). The lock status ap-
pears (e.g. „LOCKED“).
2. Press
the
<MODE>
key and key-in a valid user code (e.g. 12104453) us-
ing the
<NUMERIC>
keys (an asterisks appears for every digit entered).
Press the
<ENTER>
key to confirm the Code. The lock is in the Pro-
gramming mode for Immediate Time lock.
3. Press
<ENTER>
twice

the
<LEFT>
or
<RIGHT>
key to set the duration in hours:minutes.
The Immediate Time Lock should be active after exiting this dialogue.
4. Press
the
<ENTER>
key and select „
YES
“ using the
<LEFT>
or
<RIGHT>
key, then press the
<ENTER>
key to confirm the settings.
Notes!
• Maximum duration is 144 hours.
• Overwriting with „000:00“ will deactivate the Immediate Time Lock.
• Default, the Master can override the Immediate Time Lock. This can be disa-
bled by the AS284-USBW or AS284-NETW.
• The Immediate Time Lock is not related to Time/Date. Therefore, by chang-
ing Time/Date setting the Immediate Time Lock cannot be bypassed.
