Requirement!
Duress Codes are recognized only if this function is enabled by the Master
Code (
Activating/Deactivating Duress Code function -
Submenu DURESS bank on page 93).
Note!
After entering a Duress Code, the duress status is maintained until the Duress
Time Delay has elapsed and the lock has been opened and one more non-
duress code has been entered!
AS284-USBW or AS284-NETW Programming Software
• The initiation of a duress alarm is confi gurable from +/-1 to +/-9.
• Four Duress Time Delays are available:
• the fi rst is valid for Master, Manager 1 and Users 11 ... 19
• the second for Manager 2 and Users 21 ... 29
• the third for Manager 3 and Users 31 ... 39
• the fourth for Manager 4 and Users 41 ... 49.
• The Duress Time Delays can be set independent (longer or shorter) of the
normal Time Delays.
• The counting of the Duress Time Delay is the same as set for the Time De-
lay: „count up“, count down“ or „no-count“.
5.8.4.2 Duress Code in interactive mode
To trigger a duress alarm in interactive mode, confirm the entered code
by pressing the <ENTER> key once
. Duress alarms can be initiated with all
code types at any time.
Triggering a duress alarm for lock opening starts the set Duress Time
Delay.
Note!
In interactive mode the Duress Code function can not be deactivated.
