5.10.2 Opening procedure in ICS mode
The Display switches off automatically after 1 minute without any key be-
ing pressed.
1. Press any key to wake up the display (if necessary). The lock status ap-
pears.
2. Key-in the 4 digit ID (e.g. 3512) using the
<NUMERIC>
keys (an asterisk
appears for every digit entered).
Press the <ENTER> key twice
to con-
firm the ID (pressing the
<ENTER> key once
triggers a duress alarm).
3. The Request Code window appears showing ICS-mode-specific Re-
quest Code (e.g. 654123) for 30 seconds. The remaining time is shown
within the opening code must be entered. Forward the shown Request
Code to the dispatch centre.
4. Key-in the Opening Code received from the dispatch centre (e.g.
123456) using the
<NUMERIC>
keys.
Press the <ENTER> key twice
to
confirm the Code (pressing the
<ENTER> key once
triggers a duress
alarm).
5. If an opening code with time delay is defined the opening delay window
appears and the set delay time starts to count. Every 60 seconds a
beep sounds while the delay time counts. If the timer has elapsed an-
other beep indicates the end of the opening delay.
