Note!
This function applies for the duress code function in bank mode only. The duress
code function in one time code mode is not affected.
6.4.5.12 Activating/Deactivating Dual Mode - Submenu DUAL

The lock can be set to require 2 codes for opening. It can be employed
when only 2 persons together are supposed to be able to open the lock.
Authorization:
Master Code
1. Select the submenu „
DUAL bank
“.
2. Press
the
<ENTER>
key. The currently set status of the Dual Mode (by
default: „OFF“) is displayed.
3. Use
the
<LEFT>
or
<RIGHT>
key to
activate („DUAL ON“)
or
deacti-
vate („DUAL OFF“)
Dual Mode.
4. Press
the
<ENTER>
key to confirm the setting in the upcoming save
dialogue.
Note!
• Depending on the Dual Mode settings („Two Codes of same group“, „Two
Codes of different groups“ or „any two codes“) different code combinations
(„Manager and Master“, „User and User“, „Manager and User“, etc.) can open
the lock.
Master Code (if set to „Master can open Lock“) and Courier Code can open the
lock without any second code.
• If Opening Time Delay is activated:
• Two codes must be entered for verifi cation in the Confi rmation Window, once
the Time Delay has elapsed. Here again, above mentioned Dual Mode set-
tings apply.
• If two codes were entered, the opening delay of the last code will be per-
formed. Exception: if the fi rst entered code was a Duress Code, its Duress
Time Delay will be performed.
• If Master Code or Courier Code is entered fi rst in Confi rmation Window no
second code will be required upon confi rmation.
