Appendix III Power cable preparation
For connecting RG-1000e to an external power supply you may build your own power cable. Next parts are
needed for building RG-1000e power cable:
- power connector Phoenix Con PTSM 0.5-3-P 1778845;
- 3 wires power cable with conductors' size 0.4-
0.5 sq.mm (21-20AWG)
1 m. or desirable length.
It is highly recommended to use a cable with wires in Red, Black and Green-Yellow colors.
On the 1st power cable end delete 35-40 mm outer insulation and delete 20 mm wires' insulation. This cable end
will be used for connection to a power supply unit.
On the 2nd power cable end delete 10-12 mm outer insulation and delete 5-6 mm wires' insulation.

Connect Red wire to "+" power plug pin, Black wire to "-" power plug pin and
Green-Yellow wire to GMD power
plug pin.
