The channels that are turned off cannot be viewed live nor will it be recorded.

When there is a recording failure, the video loss icon will show on the channel’s live
screen and the alarm LED will light up.
3. When a channel is activated without a connected camera, the video loss icon will
show on the channel’s blank screen and the alarm LED will light up. To avoid this,
please turn off all channels that are not being used.
