Be sure to shut off the breaker of the facility power supply (the user’s
machine power supply) before wiring.
3.7.2 Wiring
As an example of connection of an external switch, the
connecting method is shown below using the SMC flow switch
(NPN, PNP).

Prepare the external switch

Depending on the external switch output type, wire the switch to the connector for
contact input / output (which is included as an accessory) as shown below. Mount the
ferrite core (3 turns), which is included as an accessory. This is an example of
