Removing the residual water
Each time a steam cooking cycle finishes,
after deactivating the buzzer the messages
and
will flash
on the display to request that the reservoir
be emptied.
30. Remove the cover from the evaporation
tray and dry it with the sponge supplied.
31. Insert the supplied sponge into the
evaporation tray.
32. Press the confirmation knob to begin
draining residual water from the
reservoir.
The display shows the level depending on
the quantity of water in the reservoir:
Reservoir full
Reservoir half full
Reservoir at minimum level
Reservoir empty
The residual water is discharged into the
evaporation tray: as well as facilitating
removal, this contributes to cooling down
the oven more quickly.
If the remaining quantity of water is over
500 ml, the water will be discharged into
the evaporation tray in two different steps to
facilitate drying. When the first step finishes,
the messages
and
will flash on the display and
emptying will stop. The confirmation knob
must be pressed again to finish draining off
the residual water. When this is complete,
the message
will be
displayed.
We recommend emptying the
reservoir each time you finish
using the appliance to avoid
scale build-up.
Note: The evaporation tray cover
may be very hot: use appropriate
protection.
If you do not wish to proceed with
draining the reservoir, hold down
the confirmation knob for a few
seconds.
