4.3 Positioning and levelling the appliance
When positioning the product, ensure that it does not damage the supply cable.
Two rollers are provided on the base of the product at the back (Fig. 3) to make it more stable and easier
to move, and therefore to make it possible to position it properly. However, you are advised to be very
careful when moving the product so that the sliding motion does not damage the floor (e.g. if the fridge
freezer is placed on a parquet floor).
Place the fridge freezer on a stable, level base. The fridge freezer is equipped with two adjustable feet at
the front (Fig. 4) to compensate for any irregularities in the flooring. In case of necessity, adjust the
height of the appliance by screwing the adjustable feet in or out (Fig. 4): turn them clockwise to raise the
front part of the appliance, or turn them counter-clockwise to lower it. Leaning the appliance towards the
rear part facilitates correct closing of the doors.

Fig. 4
If the feet are not high enough to stabilise the fridge freezer (e.g. if the floor is very uneven), or to tilt it
backwards, a shim made of a rigid material (plastic or wood) will need to be inserted underneath the feet
in order to further raise the front of the appliance.
A proper installation will allow the doors to close properly. A check must be made to ensure that the door
seals close hermetically, especially at the corners. If they do not close properly, check to make sure that
there are no product processing residues or packaging residues between the seal and the fridge freezer
doors. If necessary, adjust the seals with your fingers as in figures 5 and 6.
Attention:
Force should not be used in adjusting the seals. Do not tear or detach the seals from the doors.
A few days after installation, check that the initial level adjustment is still correct. Make sure that the
fridge freezer is still stable and the door seals still close hermetically when it is in operation and loaded
with food. If necessary, re-adjust the level and the door seals as shown below.
