5.0 SETTING UP AND ADJUSTING YOUR INDEPENDENT STANDER
STOP!
If in any doubt, ALWAYS seek ADVICE
Always turn handwheels, levers and screws clockwise to tighten or
anti-clockwise to loosen. The stander must be fully adjusted by a
therapist or trained representative before use.
5.1 CHASSIS EXTENSION
To ensure stability, the chassis has
castor extensions, located in the box
end sections (A)
•
Loosen the tightening screw
located in the box section (B),
using the hexagonal key provided.
•
Set the extension to the desired
length.
•
Re-tighten screw (B)
•
Repeat for the three remaining
extensions
•
Check stability of the stander
before allowing a child to use the
product.
5.2 OVERALL HEIGHT
The overall height of the stander can
be adjusted to set the tray height.
•
Loosen the lever locks (2 off) on
the angled support legs (C)
•
Loosen the lever locks (2 off) on
the main support legs (D)
•
Lift the main support legs to the
desired height and then tighten
(D)
•
Set the tray level by lifting the
angled support legs, and tighten
(C)
