GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
Do not tamper or remove the plates and safety devices installed on the machine.
Tampering with the safety devices and failure to comply with the signs relieves the manufacturer from
liability for any damage or injury that may be caused and attributes full responsibility of the person carrying
out the actions in respect of the relevant entities.
The driver’s cab is approved in compliance with the following standards:
ISO 3449:2005 level II (FOPS),
ISO 3471:2008 (ROPS),
ISO 6055:2004-3.4.2,
ISO 6055:2004-3.4.3,
ANSI/ITSDF B56.6-2016 -8.16.3(b)
ANSI/ITSDF B56.6-2016 -8.16.3(c).
If the machine that is being maneuvered is about to tip over, remain inside the cab for best protection.
Seatbelts must always be fastened to prevent the operator from being thrown and potentially crushed in
the event of an accident. The seatbelt is properly adjusted when it fits snugly on the pelvis without causing
any particular discomfort during driving operations. Use of the seatbelt increases the sense and level of
safety of the operator, reducing the risk of accidents.
Certain maintenance operations may require access to the area under the boom; in this case, it must be
assured that the latter cannot in any way, not even accidentally, be lowered from its position. To this end, a
special metal block is supplied with each machine, which must be manually placed on the cylinder rod and
fixed with two screws with the handwheel on the rear side of the machine behind the driver’s cab.
Strictly comply with the instructions to position the block defined below:
o
Remove the block on the rear of the driver's cab with the two specific bolts supplied with the
machine
o
Lift the boom to a height where the cylinder rod is slightly longer than the locking device
o
Climb onto the central bridge of the machine while paying attention not to step on the areas
marked with the prohibitions and place the blocking device on the cylinder rod
o
Insert the two screws in the holes at the two ends and lock them with the relative nuts thereby
preventing the block from moving position
o
Once it is used and maintenance is completed, remove the block and put it back in the same spot it
was taken from.
