IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
The following basic precautions should always be followed when using electrical
appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury:
1. Read all instructions carefully before using the heater.
2. The use of accessories not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may
result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
3. Before plugging in, make sure that your electricity supply (current, voltage) is
the same as that shown on the heater. If this is not the case, contact your dealer
and DO NOT use the heater.
4. Do not position the heater immediately below a socket.
5. Do not let the cord hang over edge of the working surface or touch hot
surfaces.
6. The heater becomes hot when it is in use. To avoid burns, do not touch the outer
surfaces. Always use the handles when moving the heater.
7. Do not place combustible materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper,
clothes and curtains directly in front of, behind or at the side of the heater. Always
maintain a safety distance of at least 3 feet (0.9m) between other objects and
the heater.
8. Extreme caution is essential when children are near the heater or if the heater is
unattended.
9. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
heater.
10. Never leave the heater unattended. Always unplug the heater when not in use.
11. Never operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug, if the heater has been
dropped or damaged in any way or if it is not working properly. Return the faulty
heater to your authorized Soba dealer for a check up or repair.

placed so no one can trip over it.
16. To switch off the heater, turn the temperature knob and the 4-P rotary knob to
"O" and disconnect the power cord from the mains socket. Never pull at or yank
