6.1 TRANSFER TO MAINTENANCE BYPASS
(pdu16.05.01)
To transfer to maintenance bypass (mains) from UPS, use the following steps:
1.
Ensure the MAINS lamp (orange) is illuminated. If the lamp is not illuminated, refer to
Troubleshooting section.
2.
Transfer the rotary switch from UPS to MAINS, provide the MIANS lamp is illuminated on
the PDU 16.
3.
Turn the UPS off.
4.
Disconnect the two cables connecting the UPS to the PDU 16.
5.
You may now service the UPS.
6.2 TRANSFER TO UPS
(pdu16.05.02)
To transfer to UPS from maintenance bypass (mains), use the following steps:
1.
Reconnect the UPS to the PDU 16. Start the UPS according to the instructions in the UPS
user manual.
2.
Verify that UPS lamp (green) on the PDU 16 is illuminated. If so, transfer the rotary bypass
switch from MAINS to UPS. If the lamp does not illuminate, refer to Troubleshooting
section.
3.
Conditioned power is now being supplied through the UPS.
