•  Rinse the carbonating bottle with cold or lukewarm water before first use.

carbonating water. Use of this Sparkling Water Maker for any unintended purposes

 Use your Sparkling Water Maker on a flat, stable surface away from 

heat sources and do not leave in direct sunlight.

DO NOT

 place your Sparkling Water Maker on a hot surface (e.g. kitchen oven/stove/ 

hob) and never use it close to a flame.

• The carbonating bottle must be properly in place before operating your Sparkling 

Water Maker.

•  

DO NOT

 move your Sparkling Water Maker during the carbonation process.

•  

DO NOT

 remove the carbonating bottle during the carbonation process.

• To reduce the risk of personal injury or property damage, any servicing or repair 

should be performed by a SodaStream-authorized service representative.

• Close adult supervision is necessary when your Sparkling Water Maker is used by 

children and it is not recommended for use by children under 12.

SAFE USE OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

Only use the power adapter and power lead supplied with the SPIRIT ONE TOUCH

TM  

Sparkling Water Maker.  Using a different power adapter or lead may cause damage to the 

Sparkling Water Maker and to the power adapter.  If the power adapter (including the 

power lead and plug) becomes damaged, contact your local SodaStream Customer

Service to obtain a replacement.

When using electrical appliances the following safety precautions should always be 

followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury:

DO NOT

 place the cord, plug or Sparkling Water 

Maker in water or in any liquids;

DO NOT

 operate the Sparkling Water Maker with a damaged cord or plug;

 let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter or touch hot surfaces;

DO NOT

 use the Sparkling Water Maker outdoors.

•  The Sparkling Water Maker can be used by children aged 12 years and above and by    

persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or with lack of 

experience and knowledge if they are supervised and have been given instruction 

concerning the safe use of the Sparkling Water Maker by an adult responsible for their 

    safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the Sparkling 

Water Maker.
