Switching points for piece control
If you want to transfer the control values via the interface, e.g. to a control light or to a controller, an I/O card
must be installed in the terminal. This must be activated in the setting mode under Program settings /
Counting / Default IO configuration with Execute. The output signals are assigned as follows:
Switching point
Signal
S1
Weight value above tolerance
S2
not active
S3
Weight value within tolerance
S4
Weight value below tolerance
S5
empty signal
S6
Weight value above tolerance
The individual inputs and outputs can be individually adapted.
Data record / impression within or outside tolerance
The release of a data set outside a defined tolerance range can be prevented or accepted. If a data record is
released outside the tolerance range, it is marked with a special character. Enable or disable in setting mode
under Program Settings / Counting / Data record outside tolerance.
Start mode
When the start mode is activated, the scale freezes the value and thus the signal once the activated
switching points have been reached. The scale can then be unloaded without deactivating the switching
point and thus unintentionally starting a new process. Only by pressing the F6 Start key in the Control
functions level is the frozen status released.
Activate the start mode in the setting mode under Program settings / Counting / Start mode.
End piece control
Call up the 2nd level control functions via the key and press key F5 Quantities contrast, then delete via
key F2 Delete or complete deletion via key .
6.7.9 Counting with several weighing bridges
If several scales are connected, the reference weight can be determined and quantities counted on each
scale. For best results, we recommend that you determine the reference weight on the scale with the finest
numeric increment. Select the scale using the scale button.
Once you have determined the reference weight, you can switch to a bulk scale with a higher capacity to be
able to count large quantities using the reference weight determined on the reference scale.
Automatic changeover:
You can define a preferred reference scale in the setting mode.
The system then automatically switches from the quantity scale to the reference scale and back.
Place the reference quantity on the reference scale and press the Ref 10 or Ref Variable key. The display
switches to the preferred reference scale, the reference weight is determined, and then the bulk scale is
activated for quantity determination.
If you do not want the reference weight to be determined in the same way as the reference weight, but also
the reference weight to be counted, switch manually from the mass comparator to the reference scale before
determining the reference weight.
