Display, print, and delete total
After pressing the Total function key, the totals are displayed for 3 seconds, and the
memory contents are printed and deleted at the same time. A new totaling transaction can
then be started.
•
Only display totals
After pressing the Total function key, the user can decide whether to delete the totaling
memory.
Press the F2 Delete Total key to delete the totaling memory; this is followed by the security
question "Delete Total?". The F1 to F3 YES keys are used to delete the totaling memory,
whereas the totaling memory is not deleted with the F4 to F6 NO keys.
Press the F6 Back key to continue totaling without deleting the memory.
6.6.7 Relief factor for totaling
(parameter is not used for the picking function).
For the Totaling function, you can determine in setup mode that the scale must be relieved by a
specified number of number increments between placing individual items. If the scale is not
relieved, the weight reading is not saved to the totaling memory, and the error message Error 55 -
Place Weight is displayed. This for instance prevents saving an item twice.
6.6.8 Auto totaling / picking
The Auto Totaling function can be enabled in setup mode.
In this case, only the first item must be saved with the Plus key, all other items are automatically
saved to the totaling memory after the scale is relieved (for totaling only) and placing weight and
settle.
If auto totaling is terminated by cancel, error message, or measurement location switch, auto
totaling must be restarted by pressing the Plus key once again.
Info: like manual totaling, auto totaling can be defined as a condition that triggers a printout (see
Print section).
A load <5 number increments is not saved for auto picking. The F6 Plus key is used to manually
save weights < 5 number increments to the picking memory.
6.6.9 Preferred totaling scale
Only one unit of measure and resolution can be assigned to the totaling memory. When several
differently configured scales (measurement locations) are sued, the parameters from the currently
enabled scale are used for the totaling transaction.
The Preferred Totaling Scale function can be assigned in setup mode.
The unit of measure and resolution for the totaling memory is always determined by the selected
scale number.
