Camera

・Mind etiquette when using Camera.
・Do not expose Camera Lens to direct sunlight. Concentrated

sunlight through Lens may cause handset to malfunction.

・Image files may be lost or altered accidentally due to

handset malfunction, mishandling or update/reset after
repair. Softbank Mobile is not liable for any damages
resulting from accidental loss/alteration of files. Also,
Softbank Mobile is not liable for the data recovery.

・Test Camera before capturing/recording special moments.
・Be considerate of privacy of others when taking/recording

pictures/videos or sending images.

・Do not capture/record books displayed for sale or any print

that is prohibited from being captured/recorded.

Copyrights

・The rights of copyright holders to literary works, music,

still images, video, computer programs, databases, etc. are
protected by copyright laws. You may copy these materials
for private use only. Copying for purposes other than
the above (including data format conversion), modifying,
transferring copies, distributing on networks may be subject
of compensation for losses or of prosecution for "copyright
infringement" or "copyright holder rights infringement." If
copying using this product, observe copyright laws. Handset
is equipped with Cameras. Observe copyright laws when
shooting with Cameras.

・Transfers of copyrighted images are prohibited, unless

otherwise provided for in copyright laws.

・Images shot by handset Camera are permitted for personal

use only. They cannot be used/transferred without
copyright holder (photographer, etc.) permission. Always
observe applicable copyright laws/ portrait rights when
posting recorded materials on Internet webpages, Also, note
that shooting or recording a demonstration, performance
or exhibition may be limited in some cases even if it is for
personal use.

Portrait Rights

・Portrait rights protect individuals' right to refuse to be

photographed or to refuse unauthorized publication/use
of their photographs. Portrait rights consist of the right
to privacy, which protects the interests of celebrities.
Therefore, photographing others including celebrities
and publicizing/distributing their photographs without
permission is illegal; use Camera responsively.

Urgent News (Japanese)

・Urgent News Incoming Setting is enabled by default.
・Urgent News messages appear in Japanese.
・Upon reception, alert tone sounds even in Silent mode.
・Urgent News messages cannot be received during calls or

other transmissions, or in poor signal conditions.

・Urgent News accuracy may vary with signal conditions/

handset location.

・Enabling Urgent News may reduce Continuous Standby Time.
・SoftBank Mobile is not responsible for any losses associated

with Urgent News reception, etc.

Drip-proof Performance

Drip-proof performance is equivalent to IPX2

However, it is not waterproof. Exposure to water/liquid may
cause malfunction.
* IPX2 compliant means that handset continues to function as
a phone after being subject to vertically falling water drops
when tilted up to 15 degrees.

・Complete protection is not guaranteed under all conditions.

Malfunctions due to improper handling by the user are not
covered by Warranty.

・Water repellent finish prevents slight wetting (rain, etc.)

from affecting handset function. However, handset is not
totally waterproof; do not expose to water/liquid.

・Be careful of water exposure when using handset on rainy or

snowy days, or in humid places. Handset is drip-proof, but
not waterproof.

・If handset gets wet, immediately power off. Shake to drain

water and wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
