Connectivity
Wirelessly transfer files between handset and compatible
devices (PCs, mobiles, etc.). "Files" includes Bookmarks,
Tasks, Notepad, Phone Book and Calendar entries, and
Messaging and Data Folder files. 814SH and 815SH comply
with IrMC 1.1, however, some files may not be transferable.

Align Infrared Ports within
20 centimeters with no
obstructions between
handsets.

Keep Infrared Ports aligned
during transfer.

Dust/oil may impair file
transfers; clean Infrared Ports
with a soft cloth beforehand.

Transfers are disabled while
using the Internet or Media
Player, while editing mail or files, etc.

Transfers in direct sunlight, under fluorescent lighting or near
infrared equipment may fail.

Receive Folder
Receive a folder and its contents. (Handset
does not support sending folders.)
IrSS Transfer
Transfer JPEG files one at a time at high
speed. Received files are saved to Data
Folder (Pictures).
Authorisation Code
3
Authorisation Codes (four digits) are specific for infrared
transfers. All File Transfers are possible when Authorisation
Codes of both devices match.

Only compatible devices receive files transferred via
IrSS transfer.
Tip
I
Transfer most Memory Card Data Folder files one at a
time. Received JPEG images in DCIM folder are saved in
Pictures folder.
