Universal Subscriber Identity Module (USIM) Card is an IC
card containing customer and authentication information,
including the handset number, and limited storage for
Phone Book entries and SMS messages. USIM Card must
be inserted to use this handset.

Do not apply excessive force to insert/remove USIM Card.

If Handset is Dropped or Subjected to Shocks
Handset may not recognize USIM Card;
REFRESH
appears and handset returns to Standby. This is
not a malfunction. If
Insert USIM Card
appears or handset
does not restart, clean and properly reinsert USIM Card
then restart handset.
