4.3.1
Data card indicator
The LED for the data card is indicated by the disk icon (see
Figure 13). When the data card is in use (in other words, when a
file has been opened), the LED blinks green; otherwise, it is off.

of this LED.

4.3.2
Battery indicator
There are two battery LEDs, one for each internal battery. The
battery located on the left side of the compartment is battery A.
The LED associated with battery A is indicated by both the
battery icon (see Figure 14) and the letter A. The battery located
on the right side of the compartment is battery B and is
indicated by the battery icon and the letter B. Refer to Figure 8,
Access door open, on Page 17, to see the location of these LEDs.
The battery A LED blinks green if battery A is active, and the
battery B LED blinks green if battery B is active; otherwise, the
LEDs are off.

4.4
General Operations
Following is a list of general operations when using the Radian
IS receiver, data collector and schedules:
•
First, apply power to the Radian IS (in other words, install
its internal batteries or connect it to an external power
supply). Once a Radian IS is connected to a proper power
supply, it is ready to use.
