SOLA 610 UPS Optional Features
4.3 Operating CheckUPS II® (cont.)
Meters
The
Meters
group allows you to graph three values from a list of
UPS values. If you would like to change a meter or the
properties of a meter, just point to the meter and click. The
Meter Configuration
window displays.
Pick a value from the
Choose Data to Display
list box. The
values available will vary depending on the
model of UPS. This list may be different from the readings
list, since some values cannot be displayed in a meter
format.
Set the maximum and minimum values for the scale of the
graph. Set the thresholds and assign colours to
the ranges. When the graph is displayed, the background
colours will reflect the thresholds. If you also display the
value as a reading, the same thresholds are used.
When you finish configuring the meter, click
OK
. If you wish
to clear the thresholds, click
Clear
. If you would like to reset the
thresholds to their suggested values, click
Defaults
. If you
would like to abandon all changes and close the Meter
Configuration window, click
Cancel
.
Exiting CheckUPS II® Advanced
If you choose
File | Exit
, the monitoring center will close. If your
system is running Windows NT® or OS/2, UPS monitoring
continues. If you are using Windows®, Windows® for
Workgroups, or Windows 95®, UPS monitoring is also
terminated.
To terminate UPS monitoring for Windows NT® or OS/2, you
must stop the service. See “Using the CheckUPS II® NT
Service” for more information on using the service. For OS/2,
close the CheckUPS II® Advanced Service application.
