Do not leave the appliance out in the rain

the appliance, this will increase the risk of

Disconnect the appliance from the mains
when not in use and before undertaking any
cleaning task.

Do not store or transport the appliance if it

Keeping the iron on its rest at maximum
temperature for prolonged periods may
cause discolouration, which does not affect

For a correct operation, keep the soleplate
in good condition; do not iron over metal

It is advisable to use distilled water, espe-
cially if the water in your area contains clay
or if it is “hard” (containing lime or magne-

Check that the lid is closed properly before
switching the appliance on.

Make sure that the appliance is serviced
only by specialist personnel, and that only
original spare parts or accessories are used
to replace existing parts/accessories.

tions for use renders the guarantee and the
manufacturer’s liability null and void.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:

Make sure that all of the products’ packag-
ing has been removed.
•
Some parts of the appliance have been
lightly greased. Consequently, the first time
the appliance is used a light smoke may be
detected. After a short time, this smoke will
disappear.
